  • NZ Oil Tank ST4, Napier

    NSB has been working in the highly regulated fuel storage industry for over 20 years. Job quality and health & safety compliance are paramount. NSB passed Shell auditing and holds ACC accreditation giving our clients the confidence that their staff are safe. Tank ST4 required the removal of the existing exterior lead based coatings due to the proximity to residential dwellings. We also scaffolded the tank’s interior, blasting away the original coatings and fully reinstating the internal lining. Our systems allowed the project to be completed with no complaints from neighbours or local authorities. NSB is now the ‘go to' for this type of work in the Hawke’s Bay.

  • Arterial Contact Bridge, East Taupo

    The 440m long bridge is the longest steel ladder bridge in the country and in one of the most corrosive environments. The only way to achieve a 40-plus year maintenance free lifespan with all the geothermal gases was thermal spray of pure aluminium. Even though this process dates back 100 years no one has ever attempted a job of this magnitude with it in the southern hemisphere, the only other large scale project ever completed like this was in Dubai.
